Yes, the meters at the top is what I was talking about. The 1/2 way up is better, 1/4 isn't pushing the amp hard enough. Great song! one of my favorite instrumentals. Those speakers come with something like this: Or, better, same as you found but costs less, if the line in (what your link called sound card in - not aux in) cable is removable: P.s., Can you order from amazon or musicians friend? Your looking for this: (sold out everywhere ?) here's an eBay I added a couple vibrato sustain notes at the end, although. Then I turn off the gate and EQ's and play a little SCOM, then turn my noise reduction container on and repeat SCOM. The first few seconds is starting from noise as is, then I click on the EQ's then a Noise Reduction gate that's after the EQ's.

Anyway, on the plus side, at least I can use the Lead 800 now, if I want to! I had to build a noise reduction container just for this and it took 40 bands of EQ rather than my usual 20 and still didn't get the best results, It's good enough for a demonstration though. This preset uses the dreaded Lead 800 which is nothing but noise. If you still don't understand, I've got a good analogy for your other question but I'd rather play guitar than post it right now. How do you tweak without hearing the sound? Although your able to record, you don't know what it will sound like. That should be enough for you to understand your last question in the other post as well. Unless your the luckiest person in the world, at least one of them will sound horrible. Pick a random preset, not by name, and record Eruption again, before you stop recording, pick another random preset and play Eruption again, do that one more time and stop and save the recording.

You got lucky with the patch choice and it worked well tonally for Eruption, you probably used one of the Van Halen presets. Blindly picking a preset and recording without speakers isn't going to get you a quality recording, To record quality recordings, you have to learn to use your ears. Now take the recording of Eruption, use the mp3 encoder you have and actually convert it to 64kps. That noise is in the background of the recording throughout, bleeding through. Save the file and listen to the playback on your headphones.

Here, what you do is turn off the gate at the top of guitar rig, now hold your guitar turned on and record for a few seconds without playing then pick and hold a couple different notes and a power chord until they ring out. The problem is noise in your signal, it doesn't stand out as much in the first part because the playing technique is different (it's still there though).
